Welcome to the web site of St James' Parish Church, Ayr

St James' Parish Church  is the Church of Scotland Church which serves the North-West corner of the County town of Ayr, Scotland.   St James' aims to be an inclusive family of God where all are welcome and everyone is valued and involved.  We aim to play an active part in the community we serve, reaching out with the love and joy of Jesus Christ.  Services of worship are held each Sunday at 11am with the members of the Junior Church joining with the adults for the first part of the service before continuing to meet in the halls.  Our organisations cater for people of all ages and are run by caring and capable officers and leaders.

To all who are weary and need rest;

to all who are lonely and need friends;

to all who mourn and need comfort;

to all who pray, and to those who do not but ought;

to all who sin and need assurance of forgiveness;

to all who need healing and wholeness;

to all who seek Jesus, and to whoever will come -

the Church of St James' opens its doors and says:

In the Name of Jesus Christ, WELCOME!

We hope you enjoy visiting our web site and we look forward to your visiting our congregation, whether you are resident in Ayr or on holiday here.
